It's a little hard to keep up with the blogging, because somedays like today, I really don't feel like doing anything.
Just woke up from a short nap. Didn't take it because I was sleepy, just that my tummy wasn't feeling very good (kind of wanting to throw up but not quite being able to) and times like this, sleeping is the best solution. Amazingly, I can sleep practically anytime of the day now, even if I already had a decent nights' sleep! In fact I slept way too much yesterday, but I still didn't have a problem dozing off.
Also, find myself getting tired very easily. I definitely sleep a lot more, but my energy level in general is quite sapped too. At least I have the luxury of sleeping anytime I want - I can't imagine those expectant mummies who also have to take care of their other children, they must be so exhausted!
Today, woke up late and went for lunch at Ghim Moh market (fishball meepok noodles - tasted quite good thankfully) but perhaps I had gone too long without food from the night before, so I regurgitated some of it in the car (in plastic bag of course, I always have some on hand) on the way to Paragon. After a brief round of shopping - had to pick up some new undies from M&S - my existing ones still fit, but the elastic gives me little welts on my butt, making me itch like crazy - I was planning to go check out some maternity wear in Takashimaya, but I was just TOO tired!
I couldn't believe - I just couldn't bring myself to walk across the road and go up 3 floors to shop. Felt totally exhausted at that point, so I asked Kisu to just drive me home. Bleah.
Anyway, on another note, if there are any other expectant mummies out there who are looking for stretch mark prevention creams, may I recommend this one - Stretch Marks Double Action, and also the Specific Support Bust cream from Mustela. I bought mine at Takashimaya 3rd floor, but it's also found in Robinson's. It has been highly recommended by friends, so I'm slathering it on after showers. I don't know if it's doing any good (yet), but it does help the skin to be nice and smooth, and I just need to know that I'm doing whatever I can to prevent the lines!
A little bump is spouting - my midsection is getting visibly thicker. I'm planning to take pics to document the growing belly soon. Kisu says that it is baby's home and the address is 1 Mommy Way. Ha ha.
