No need to induce!

Yay! Will update more later - sleepy now after a huge lunch......

Here's the girl - all of 2.5kgs now.



Usually after the ultrasound, doc will take out a little growth chart and plot the baby's weight against it. Then she will pronounce whether or not the baby is growing well. During this session, there was no chart or plotting..she just told me that she would see me in a weeks time. So I said "No need to induce?" and she kinda just nodded. Oh, and strangely enough - even with all my gorging this past week, there was no change to my weight!

Immediately after that, I started making all my appointments - I just got my haircut today, thank goodness! Otherwise, I would be stuck with a mop of dishevelled hair till who knows when. Still need to arrange the waxing and last pedi before I go in!

I'm not putting up any more pictures of my belly because I'm freaking out at my own stretchmarks. They truly are depressing - red/purplish angry welts that spread everyday. Veins are popping under my skin and you can see how thin and stretched it is; how much your skin is being damaged. Please, no advice about stretchmarks - trust me when I say that I've taken lots of effort to avoid this but it has still happened.

OK, in all honesty the 1st picture is quite scary. It isn't THAT red. But that radiating effect is quite common.
