* GANG-PEI - gangster (Korean)
This is how Kisu, in charge of her morning bath dressed her today. The top is a onesie from Evelyn and Suzanne, and the pants we got from the recent Gap sale. She's slipping into a food coma after having a few dribbles of milk.
We know she looks like a boy - just last weekend two aunties in a row working at the Cha Chan Tang we were lunching in asked if she was a boy. This was despite her being in a dress (OK, so the blankie wrapped around her and the 5 point harness of her stroller might have obscured the outfit.)
I'm not fussed about it, or insulted - that's just the way she looks. I am not going to insist on all pink outfits or put her in one of those headband things with a giant flower on her just to indicate that she's a girl. (if you're one of those parents who do, sorry, but I've seen babies in it - they are invariably bald, and it isn't the most flattering look)
I figure she'll grow out of it. Once she gets older, once her hair gets longer and once I get around to styling her!
In any case, I like a little samseng-ness in a girl - it's a nice balance to anything overtly feminine.
Nothing too princess-y, please.

So cute! Ya.. I agree with the headbands thingy
You should look at my girls when they were babies. Totally boy-like. Yes, once the hair grows longer, they will look different.
