The early days are already slipping from memory as one day blends into another, and the gradual changes go by unnoticed and lost without me making a conscious effort to record it.
This is a typical day for us:
(Timing varies day to day of course, but pretty much this is it for now)
7.30am: Ellis wakes
7.45am: Bath time which Kisu handles
8.00am: 1st Feed
8.15 - 9am: Breakfast for us - Ellis sits in her bouncy chair and plays by the table as we eat and read the papers. Kisu goes off to work.
9am: Shift her over to her play area. She plays till she gets cranky, which signals sleep time. I hold her and she's ready to nap.
10 - 10.45am: Nap 1. Typically, I go online when she naps or do random household stuff, like laundry, prep for dinner, make the beds, etc etc.
11am: 2nd Feed
12.30pm: Repeat rocking for nap 2
1 - 1.45pm: Nap 2
Play till 3pm: 3rd Feed
3.30 - 4.15pm: Nap 3
4.15 - 5.45pm: Play time
5.45pm: 4th Feed
6pm: Bath time - this time done by me
6.15 - 7pm: Prepare dinner.
7 - 7.30: Kisu is usually home by this time and we settle in to dinner.
8pm: Final feed.
8.30pm: Put Ellis to bed
....and then it is alone time for us to relax, watch TV, read etc until the next day where it starts all over again....
