Bedtime Story

We try to have a bedtime routine, like all the good parenting books recommend.
After I feed her her night feed, Kisu reads Ellis a story. This one is the Sesame Street Read-Along-with-Elmo "Itsy Bitsy Spider".
Once done, he then scoops her up in his arms, and brings her to me for a goodnight kiss.
Then off to her darkened room where he holds her for a bit more and then pops her into her crib.
This happens most nights if he's back before her bedtime. Otherwise I do it.
Sometimes we skip the story, if she looks like she's zoning out. But always a kiss goodnight :)

Kisu's Birthday

The best picture we got during lunch...waitress took it for us but I guess she wasn't used to our camera...sigh


Back home with the (lana - yum!) cake

e: if i sit here really, really quietly, the big people might let me have some of that later...
