Name

The question I get very often is: Have you thought of a name yet?

The answer is: No.

Am I anxious about it? Yes.

Is Kisu? No.

To be fair, he's offered up all kinds of suggestions but I have shot every one down. Just doesn't sound right. I can't imagine my daughter being called that and I can't compromise! And yet, I can't seem to find one I like.

For those of you who are curious, the baby will have a Korean name and a Christian name.

That doesn't mean that she is not going to have a Chinese name; Korean names can be (and officially are) written in Chinese characters. So, they will be one and the same just pronounced differently.

The Korean name will be chosen by my Father-in-law as is the traditional practice, while we are responsible for picking her Christian name.

We're still drawing a blank. I hope my Dad-in-law is faring better (we haven't checked with him yet) - otherwise we will have a nameless baby!

Don't worry! We didn't settle on the bubs' names till they were born. And in hospital, the nurses just referred to the as Twin 1 and Twin 2. :)
