34 weeks 3 days

Here she is again...ultrasounds are not so clear now.

She weighs close to 2.2kg, and doc declared her to have 'fat feet'! (i think they look like Kisu's :) Extrapolating her weight on the chart, doc says her weight might wind up dipping below average....so I'm to go back in 10 days for my next checkup. Kisu reckons it's because baby is working out too much - she's super active day and night! I wake up in the middle of the night and she's still moving around. Everything else is good - amniotic fluid, heart rate, position (she's head down and pretty low), placenta & umbilical cord position. Doc asked if I've been experiencing any contractions - nope. At least not that I know of! No pains or cramping or anything like that.

Doc says that I have put on 8.5kg of pregnancy weight so far (I thought it was 10kg because I based it on prepregnancy weight, whereas doc counts it from my 1st prenatal checkup) and will probably gain about a total of 10 by the time I'm full term, which is OK for my height.

Now I feel like I have license to chow down!! As if I'm not already. I kept thinking I was consuming too much sugar, as I do like my desserts and dreadfully enough, sugary drinks (I never drank so much cold and sweet stuff when I wasn't pregnant)

On another note, this blog was mentioned in the latest issue of Mother & Baby magazine. There's an article in there on blogging mums.

My next thing to do is to get myself pre-registered at the hospital, and pack my hospital bag - I've set aside the things that I need to bring along, just haven't put them in the duffle yet as I haven't washed the stuff - baby clothes, mittens and bootees. Also need to pick up a couple of nursing tops - more shopping this weekend!

Don't forget to pack PJs with buttons in the front! And slippers to flop about in the hosp! And and, your makeup kit so you look 'presentable' to receive visitors! Heeheehee!

For baby, bring mittens, booties, tiny hat, muslin wrap and onesies. And infant car seat to bring bub home in!

Take more rest if you can. My gynae told me that baby will grow more if the mommmy is well rested. Think u have been too busy with the new launch and home improvement project. Take care ya.
cheers, Kathleen

have u checked with the hospital & see what they would provide? then u can just pack what they don't.

i recommend nursing bras by bravado & nursing tops by glamourmom. i used the former & they are really comfy. saw pics of the latter & they look like a good design for s'p weather.

camemberu, kathleen - yup, will try to eat more and rest more. actually there are so many more things i want to do, both for biz and home, but i may have to take a step back.
rachel - have checked already, so i'm only bringing what i need. but still a bunch of stuff! can you get the bras you recommended in singapore? or must order online?

Hi!

thot of popping by your blog to take a look since I read about it in Oct's issue of Mother & Baby. As I read your blogs, it reminded me so much of all those wonderful memories I had when I was carrying my baby boy, who is currently 7 mths old now. Anyway, just want to say good luck to your delivery, it's going to be one of the best moments of your life, I am pretty sure!

I couldn't find any local retailers that sold bravados when I was buying but I bought online from http://www.nestmom.com/bravado.html and http://nurturedfamily.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=60.

All the best to your final stretch =]
