She started off lolling around but being sort of able to balance by holding her arms out when we propped her up on her bum. Within days she had gotten a lot stronger, and Ellis has been sitting up for a good 3 weeks or so now.
She still takes spills because she doesn't know how to break her fall - these tend to be backwards (that explains the cushion I've put behind her)
I'm glad that she's gaining more mobility - it must be boring to see things lying down all the time unless someone picks you up!
She's also started crawling - well more like dragging herself commando style. But she's quite fast - so more work for me now - I can't leave her alone out of eyeshot (but not earshot) for too long.
