Little Tremors

Although I've been told that since this is my 1st pregnancy, I wouldn't be able to notice baby movements until somewhere in my 20th week, I've actually noticed these since about week 17.

When I first started feeling them, I thought it might be the baby moving, but I couldn't be sure till they got much more obvious. Now I get consistent movements throughout the day. Not very strong, but I can feel them and even see my tummy move! Baby seems to favour my right side. I'm not quite sure what it's doing in there....headbanging, possibly??

Anyways, it's quite fun now since it's a novelty. I suppose I'll start tellling baby to quieten down once it starts affecting my sleep! Also think I've started to spot the beginnings of the linea nigra.

Babycentre tells me that at 20 weeks, the baby is about 10 inches long (25cm) from crown to heel. I just can't imagine how something that size could exist in my tummy. It doesn't look large enough!
